Swedish or Classic Massage is designed to relax the entire body by rubbing the muscles in long, gliding strokes in the direction of blood flow to the heart.  

Deep Tissue will work out the knots from stressed, overworked muscles and connective tissue (fascia) to alleviate immediate pain, as well as chronic joint and muscle pain. It also promotes faster healing by increasing blood flow and reducing inflammation.  Note: There may be some pain after the session 

Traditional Thai massage uses no oils or lotions and is done on the ground. We practice a hybrid Thai Session that is done on the table. We combine stretching techniques with swedish or deep tissue. Rather than rubbing on muscles, the body is compressed, pulled, stretched, and rocked.

Ashiatsu is a form of Deep Tissue  It will release trigger points and connective tissues. It is slower and more forceful in the application than Deep Tissue. Furthermore, the Ashiatsu Barefoot session not only adds more pressure but also adds compression. And it throws myofascial stretching into the mix. Compression squeezes the entire body from above. 

 Lymphatic drainage massage, also known as manual lymphatic drainage, relieves swelling that happens when medical treatment or illness blocks your lymphatic system.  Lymphatic drainage massage is a type of therapy after medical treatment or poor health causes blockages to the lymphatic system. This is the part of the body that protects us from infection and disease.

Pregnancy is a powerful and exciting time. It can also be exhausting. A prenatal massage is a great way for expecting mothers to find relief and relaxation.  Prenatal massage helps by stimulating the soft tissues of the body to reduce the fluids that cause swollen joints. This practice helps remove the tissue waste to reduce muscle aches and joint pain.       

 Reiki is a Japanese form of energy healing, a type of alternative medicine. Reiki practitioners use a technique called palm healing or hands-on healing through which a "universal energy" is said to be transferred through the palms of the practitioner to the patient in order to encourage a "Balance" of emotional or physical healing.
